Managed Services
Own the network. Capture greater long-term upside.
Managed Services is Elauwit’s owner-funded model: You invest in the network build, Elauwit designs, operates and supports it end to end, and you keep the asset and the greater per-unit financial upside over time.
What Managed Services means
Managed Services is one of two paths to Elauwit's managed WiFi model. Instead of Elauwit owning the network
(as in Network-as-a-Service), the owner funds construction and owns the network outright.
Elauwit designs it, builds it and then operates and maintains it for the life of the contract, including 24/7/365
human resident support. Elauwit financing is available for the construction cost.
Available for communities of 100+ units per property.
What's included
Managed Services includes the same network experience as Elauwit's other model, built on the same infrastructure standard:
- Elauwit-designed network, engineered for the specific property
- Elauwit-operated and maintained network for the life of the contract
- 24/7/365 human resident support, with real people answering calls in less than 30 seconds
- Gigabit speeds to every unit
- Property-wide coverage: units, offices, amenities and common areas
- IoT-ready infrastructure for smart building technology
- Future-ready network designed to scale with the property
- Seamless roaming, so a resident's personal network follows them property-wide
- Enterprise-grade access points in hallways, amenities and common areas
What's different about
Managed Services
- Owner owns the network. Unlike Network-as-a-Service, the asset is yours.
- Greater per-unit financial upside over the life of the network, since there's no ongoing service fee to Elauwit built into the NaaS structure.
- Owner-funded construction, lower ongoing cost. You invest upfront in the build; Elauwit financing is available to cover it.
- 60-month term, versus 120 months under Network-as-a-Service.
Why property owners choose Managed Services
Own the asset.
The network becomes part of your property, not a service you rent indefinitely.
Elauwit still runs it day to day.
Owning the network doesn't mean managing it. Elauwit designs, operates, maintains and supports it, including resident-facing support, so your team isn't fielding WiFi tickets.
Financing available.
You don't need to fund construction out of pocket; Elauwit financing options exist to cover the buildout.
Estimates only, confirmed with a real proposal.
Elauwit's online calculator models Managed Services construction at roughly $1,000 per unit, with actual capex varying by building type, scope, hardware and site conditions, and monthly service cost varying by circuit pricing, geography and scope. Billing ramps are available to accommodate lease-up and service transitions. A firm number comes from a property-specific proposal, not this page.
How it works
Design
We evaluate your property, infrastructure, and requirements to engineer a network built for your specific community.
Build
Our construction and deployment team installs fiber, electronics, and in-unit equipment. Average 3-6 months.
Activate
Every resident gets a personal, secure WiFi network with gigabit speeds. Move in, set a password, done.
Support
We monitor, maintain, and support the entire network 24/7/365, including direct resident support with humans answering calls in under 30 seconds.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Even though you own the network under Managed Services, Elauwit designs, operates, maintains and supports it, including direct resident support.
Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) requires zero owner capital and Elauwit owns the network; Managed Services requires the owner to fund construction (with Elauwit financing available) and the owner keeps ownership of the network along with greater per-unit financial upside.
100+ units per property. Smaller properties may still qualify as part of a portfolio deployment.
Elauwit's calculator models it at roughly $1,000 per unit as an estimate. Actual cost depends on building type, scope, hardware and site conditions. Talk to Elauwit for a proposal tied to your property.
