Emotions run high at meeting
After several weeks of verbal sparring, the relationship between the Cherry Hill Reform Committee and the Cherry Hill Council appears to have worsened, as a township meeting last week was adjourned early following several comments made by a reform committee member.
Council President Steve Polansky adjourned the meeting held on Aug. 25 early after Cherry Hill Reform Committee member George Hickman began raising his voice and criticizing Mayor Bernie Platt's choice of words in a recent column he wrote for the Courier-Post. Hickman also criticized Communications Director Dan Keashen, whom he said actually wrote Platt's column.
